About H2 Math Syllabus 9758 (Revised)
As 2025 is the first year of examination of the revised syllabus of the H2 Math Syllabus 9758, a specimen paper has been provided by the exam board. This specimen paper is not included in the ten- year series that you get. Hence, I highly recommend trying the questions to get a feel of the new syllabus.
There is a slight change in the syllabus for A Level H2 Math as compared to previous years. You can read more about it here. In terms of answering the question, there is also a slight change. Instead of having the question and answer area in a single booklet, now students get a separate question paper from the answer booklet.
The Revised Syllabus 9758 for H2 Math still has similar format.
- Paper 1 is worth 100 marks, is a 3- hour long paper, and it is just Pure Math questions
- Paper 2 is worth 100 marks, is a 3- hour long paper, and contains 40% Pure Math, 60% Probability and Statistics questions
