1. Complex Numbers
The updated syllabus places greater emphasis on:
- Sketching and interpreting Argand diagrams
- Understanding transformations between complex numbers in Cartesian form
Notably, complex numbers in trigonometric and exponential forms are no longer included in the syllabus.
2. Sequences and Series
- Recurrence relations are now part of the syllabus
- The method of differences has been removed
Use of MF 27 Formula List
The revised syllabus uses the MF 27 Formula List instead of the previous MF 26.
